The U Turn of Ajmal Kasab

Ajmal Kasab the only terrorist, who was caught in the Mumbai attack, was produced the court and his statements made everyone confuse. 26/11/2008, is a black day in the Indian history, a Mumbai was attacked by a group of Pakistani terrorists. It is believed that around Ten Terrorist entered Mumbai via sea route and their main targets were

i) Taj mahal Hotel
ii) Chatrapathi Shivaji Terminal , Railway station
iii) Nariman House
iv) Leopold
v) Trident and Oberai hotel and an Hospital

On 26/11 night Kasab and other terrorist shot randomly at the CST station and while they were riding in a kidnapped car, Kasab was caught, thanks to the brave effort by a brave constable Tukaram Ombale who lost his life to catch the terrorist. Then after three days the battle with the remaining terrorists was over and Mumbai was back to normal. So out of the ten terrorists, Kasab was the only terrorist who was caught alive and he was taken into the safety custody.
Initially Kasab admitted that he was the man who shot randomly at CST, killing hundreds of people.

But now in a surprising U turn, he said on 18th Decemeber,2009 in Mumbai Court, that he was innocent and he cane to Mumbai 20 days before the attacks and he also said that the reason or his arrival to Mumbai is to act in Hindi film Industry. Another statement says that Kasab denied the attack and he also said that he has never seen an AK 47 in his life. Kasab also said the he was arrested by the Mumbai police when he was roaming at the Juhu beach. He also denied killing the high rank police officers.

This U turn made by Kasab shocked the entire people and the actual reason for the charge of statement is unknown. But one thing is clear that Kasab is just Kasab keeps on changing his statement as he was afraid of being hanged. But earlier reports said that he never bother to die.

Whatever may be the U turn, it is evident that Kasab came from Pakistan and India has a strong proof against him. Now everything is under the hands Indian law and every people in India are worried about the delay in the case. So let us hope that the case come to an end very soon and the correct judgment is given according to the law.
